A three-judge bench of the Supreme Court of India (SC) has recently in its judgment dated 18.09.2023 in the case of BTL EPC Ltd. v. Macawber Beekay Pvt Ltd & Ors. 2023 SCC OnLine SC 1223 expounded on the limited scope of judicial review by Courts in complex commercial or contractual matters.
The Bench while allowing the appeal in favour of BTL EPC Ltd. (Appellant) noted that the Courts should not readily interfere in commercial and contractual matters, especially those involving complex technical issues.
