Competence and timeliness of delivery of justice are two basic elements of Indian Judicial system.However, with enormous backlogs in the judicial system judges are having a difficult time in delivery of cases especially on account of inadequate judge strength and lack of facility for the judicial infrastructure. Government has undertaken various steps to curb exacerbated pendency of cases.
